In 2026, we are excited to partner with the Piscataqua Youth Sailing Association and Piscataqua Sailing Association to introduce Friday Night Twilights, a Friday night non-spinnaker pursuit race starting and finishing off the Portsmouth Yacht Club. Every yacht participating will be encouraged to take at least 2 crew age 14-24.
Five races are planned for the following dates this summer: June 19, July 3, July 31, Aug. 14, and Aug. 28, culminating with the Youth on Yachts Inaugural Regatta Sept. 5.
If you are a skipper of a racing yacht and would like to participate in the Friday Night Twilight Racing Series in support of Sealander’s Youth on Yachts program, please contact bill@starboardcfo.com. Boats must be registered before or at the Virtual Skippers’ Meeting Wednesday, June 17, 2026.
Each participating skipper will receive a Youth on Yachts burgee and a special Captains’ Club Friday Night Twilights racing shirt. Any skipper participating in three or more races will be entered into a drawing to win a special Christopher Ward SEALANDER GMT luxury watch.
